Introduction

Qorus’s Google Chat application allows integration with Google Chat workspaces using Google’s cloud APIs to list spaces and memberships, validate connected accounts, and send messages into selected spaces.

By authorizing your Qorus instance to access Google Chat, you enable configurations and automations in Qorus to interact with your Chat environment. This includes the ability to retrieve lists of spaces and their members for use as allowed values in automations, validate OAuth tokens via basic profile information, and deliver user-defined messages into explicitly configured spaces.

Note that Qore Technologies' cloud services are used during authorization code flow to communicate in turn with the Google Cloud API to acquire access tokens to enable your Qorus instance to communicate with Google directly. These services use data encryption and do not store or log sensitive information during the authentication code flow.
