Work on the next version of Qore is coming along nicely. At least 3 new modules will be released supporting qt4 functionality for platform-independent GUI programming and opengl and glut modules. Qore 0.6.2.3 has been released as a bugfix release including 28 bug fixes backported from the 0.7.0 branch. This release includes fixes for memory leaks, crashing bugs, and other miscellaneous fixes. Upgrading from 0.6.2.2 is recommended.

Fedora 8 binaries are available from the OpenSUSE Build Service for i586 and x86_64. The link is here: Note that the same limitations appliy as before, the OpenSUSE BuldService cannot be used to compile modules requiring commercial, closed-source SDKs or APIs (so no oracle, sybase, tibae, or tibrv modules), and since freetds has not been added as a top-level project yet, no mssql module yet either.
