Detailed Description

The ZSocketXPub class implements a ZeroMQ XPUB socket.

Overview

Objects of this class can receive subscriptions from the peers in form of incoming messages. The subscription message is a single byte; 1 (for subscriptions) or 0 (for unsubscriptions) followed by the subscription body. Messages without a sub/unsub prefix are also received, but have no effect on subscription status.

• This class is not designed to be accessed from multiple threads; it was created without locking for fast and efficient use when used from a single thread.
